USP Contact Centre

A  USP Contact Centre intern will be required to do the following:

  • Performs level 1 call center support for users at all levels across the University community.
  • Attends to queries received over the USP Chat
  • Attends to queries received over the USP Contact Centre email
  • Receive, update and resolve information requests received at the USP Contact Centre
  • Assist with Office Administrative duties

 

ICT Student

A ITS student intern will be required to do the following:

  • Attends to queries over the Helpdesk counter.
  • Resolves basic software, and networking problems / conflicts / defects.
  • Performs required office administrative duties
  • Assist with Office Administrative duties

 

 

Enterprise Systems & Networks

  • A ESNI intern will be required to do the following:
  • Performs level 1 Systems and Networks development and maintenance support for assigned projects and existing systems
  • Perform required documentation and testing on assigned projects and existing systems

 

 

Enterprise Applications Computing (MIS)

  • A EAC intern will be required to do the following:
  • Performs level 1 application development and maintenance support for assigned projects
  • Perform required documentation and testing on assigned projects
ICT Administration

  • Understand the inner working of financial procurement for ICT departments and support the growing landscape.
  • Interns will be required to carry out the following:
  • Assist the IT Services Finance officer with procurement related tasks.
  • Work on budgets and processing of paperwork in accordance to finance policies.
  • Adjust the Base selection criteria to the following:

9. Base Selection Criteria

  1. Undertaking degree or diploma program in any of the following fields:-
    1. Computing Science / Information Systems
    2. Finance / Management
    3. Other Majors where student shows promise and interest
  2. Taking a maximum of 3 units in the current semester.
  3. In the 2nd year of study for Contact Centre and student office internship.
  4. An average Grade of B+ or better from the last semester studied
  5. Good customer relations and interpersonal skills.
  6. Good communication skills & have the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
